Guides
Interactive pitch decks: what helps and what gets skipped.
Interactivity is useful when it lets a reader get to what they care about faster. It is harmful when the deck stops working the moment it is exported or forwarded.
Fixed prices from $1,500 to $10,000. No calls: everything in writing.
Navigation
Jump to: market, traction, team, ask
Illustration only. Any figures are invented for this sample slide.
Interactions that help
- A contents slide whose items link to sections.
- A link from a summary figure to its detail in the appendix.
- A short product video, linked rather than embedded.
- A link to a live demo for readers who want one.
Interactions that hurt
- Animations that hide content until clicked.
- Embedded video that fails when the file is forwarded.
- Navigation so elaborate the reader loses the order of the argument.
The PDF test
Export the deck to PDF and read it on a phone. If every point still lands, the interactivity is a bonus. If slides are now empty or confusing, the deck depends on effects.
Tracking who viewed
Link-sharing tools can show whether a deck was opened. Use that as a prompt to follow up, not as proof of interest.
Packages

Should the demo be in the deck?+
Link to it. Keep the deck light enough to email.
