Pitch deck services

Pitch deck experts. It is all we work on.

Expertise in decks is mostly pattern recognition: seeing the same ten problems in different clothes. This is what we look for, so you can check your own deck before you pay anyone.

Fixed prices from $1,500 to $10,000. No calls: everything in writing.

Slide 11

$2M buys 18 months and three hires

Illustration only. Any figures are invented for this sample slide.

Ten problems we see in most drafts

  • The ask is missing, vague or on the last slide.
  • Headlines are labels such as "Market" where a claim belongs.
  • The problem slide describes the product.
  • Market size is one huge number with no path to it.
  • Traction is shown as a logo wall with no figures.
  • The competition slide claims there is none.
  • Financials project five years from two months of data.
  • The team slide lists titles, not why this team wins.
  • Twelve fonts sizes and four chart styles.
  • The deck only makes sense with the founder talking.

What we do about them

An audit names which of these apply to your deck, slide by slide. A rebuild fixes them. Design-only work addresses the last three; Finish + Story addresses all ten.

What an expert will not do

Invent traction, inflate a market or promise an outcome. Investors check, and a deck that overstates loses the meeting it was built to win.

The questions behind every slide

Questions to ask before you hire anyone

Answered for how we work: fixed packages, written briefs, no calls.

  1. 1

How do I judge your expertise if you do not show client decks?

Read the pages on this site about what each kind of deck has to cover, and check them against your own draft. Or start with the Deck Audit and judge the advice itself.

  2. 2

Can you tell me which investors to approach?

No. We do not make investor introductions or advise on who to pitch.

  3. 3

Do you check our financial slides?

We check that the figures on different slides agree and that each chart matches its data. We do not check the model or the assumptions behind it.

  4. 4

What if your advice conflicts with our adviser's?

Tell us in writing what they said. We explain our reasoning, and you decide. On terms, valuation or law, follow your adviser.

  5. 5

Do you fact-check the claims in our deck?

No. We flag any claim that has no source in the material you sent, so you can add one or remove the claim.

  6. 6

    Do you know our industry?

We work across industries because the reader's questions follow patterns. Each industry page lists what a deck in that field has to cover. You bring the facts.

  7. 7

Is a newer deck format better than the standard order?

The order should follow what your reader needs to believe first. For most investors that is the problem and the ask; for a sponsor, the audience and the price. We arrange it for your reader.

  8. 8

Can you help with a data room?

No. Data rooms, due diligence files and legal documents are outside our work.

Your options

Ways to get a deck made

A founder who has raised before

You can get their time and they know your field.

They have only seen their own raise and their own investors.

An AI deck tool

You want a fast, plausible first draft.

You need someone to see what a careful reader will doubt.

A general designer

The content is final and only looks need work.

The deck has structural problems the designer is not asked to fix.

A deck specialist

You want both the argument and the design checked against what readers ask.

You need financial modeling, legal review or investor introductions.

Before you send it

Hiring checklist

  • They can name the questions your reader will ask.
  • They explain why they suggest a change, in writing.
  • They say when something is outside their expertise.
  • They do not invent figures or claims.
  • They flag inconsistencies between slides.
  • They treat AI-made drafts as starting points, not finished decks.
  • Their sample work is labeled as sample or illustration.
  • They do not guarantee outcomes.
