Guides
A pitch deck outline, with the job of every slide.
An outline is not a list of topics. It is a list of things you need the reader to believe, in the order that makes each one easier to accept.
Fixed prices from $1,500 to $10,000. No calls: everything in writing.
Outline
Twelve slides, twelve things to believe
Illustration only. Any figures are invented for this sample slide.
The outline
- Title: what you do, in one line.
- Problem: someone specific has a costly problem.
- Solution: here is what changes for them.
- Product: this is how it works, briefly.
- Market: enough people have this problem.
- Business model: this is how money is made.
- Traction: it is already working.
- Competition: here is why you win.
- Go to market: this is how customers are reached.
- Team: these people can do it.
- Financials: where the numbers go from here.
- Ask: how much, and what it pays for.
Change the order to suit your strength
Lead with your best evidence. If traction is remarkable, it moves to slide two. If the team is the story, it comes early. The outline is a default, not a law.
What to leave out
Company history, a full feature list, an exit strategy slide at an early stage, and anything you would skip when presenting.
Write the headlines first
Before designing anything, write the twelve headlines as sentences in a document. If that page reads as a convincing argument, the deck will too.
Packages

At the end in detail, and in one line near the start so the reader knows what is being requested.
Can you build a deck from my outline?+
Yes. Finish + Story starts from an outline and your notes.
