SaaS and software · Product-led growth deck

Product-led growth decks from sign-up to paid account.

In a product-led company the product does the selling. The deck has to show the path from sign-up to activation to paid to expansion, and where sales steps in.

Fixed prices. No calls: you brief us in writing and comment in writing.

Turnaround

5 business days for a design rebuild; 3 business days for an audit.

How it differs

How a product-led growth deck differs from a general pitch deck

In a general startup deck, growth is explained by sales and marketing spend. In a product-led deck the product is the main channel, so the evidence is behavior: what users do, how fast they get value and what makes them pay. Investors check the funnel stage by stage and want each stage defined. They also look at how self-serve revenue turns into larger contracts, because most product-led companies add sales later. Sign-ups without activation, or large contracts without their self-serve origin, miss the point.

The questions behind every slide

What readers of a product-led growth deck ask

Each answer names the slide or document where it belongs. If a question has no home in your deck, the reader will ask it in writing, or stop reading.

  1. 1

How do you define activation, and why that action?

The activation slide should state the event and show that users who reach it retain or pay at a higher rate.

  2. 2

How long does a new user take to get value?

The activation slide should show time to value, measured from sign-up to the activation event.

  3. 3

Do you use freemium, a free trial or a reverse trial, and why?

The conversion slide should state the model and what you learned that led to it.

  4. 4

How much revenue starts self-serve, and how much comes through sales?

The sales assist slide should split revenue by how each account began and how it is managed now.

  5. 5

Which signals tell sales an account is ready?

The sales assist slide should list the product signals that create a qualified lead, and how those leads convert.

  6. 6

How does one user become a team account?

The virality slide should show the invite path and how many accounts grow beyond their first user.

  7. 7

Where do sign-ups come from, and how much is paid acquisition?

The funnel slide or appendix should split sign-ups by source, separating organic, referral and paid.

  8. 8

How do paid accounts grow over time?

The revenue and retention slide should show net revenue retention by cohort of paid accounts.

Headline rewrites

Slide titles that say something.

A reader skims headlines first. A label tells them the topic; a sentence tells them the point. Bracketed figures are placeholders for your own numbers.

Before

After

What we fix

Faults we see in product-led growth deck drafts

  • Sign-ups as the headline number.

  • No definition of an active user.

  • Enterprise deals shown without how they started.

What you receive

Documents we produce

  • Investor deck
  • Funnel appendix
  • One-page summary

Every file is delivered editable, in PowerPoint, Google Slides or Keynote, with a PDF for sending. A product-led growth deck rebuild starts at $3,500; the full Raise Set with one-pager and teaser is $10,000.
